In this retreat form, we explore the inner life through integrating sitting meditation practice with the Dances of Universal Peace and Zikr. We sit, dance, sit, dance, sit, dance, sit, dance ... lunch.., sit, dance, sit, dance, sit, dance.....
The heart awareness generated through the Dances deepens the inner concentration of our meditation practice. The meditation practice deepens our experience of the Dance. This potent practice combines the power and resonance of the Zikr and Dance Circle with the profound calm and abiding insight of the meditative state. It is our experience that this integrative approach moves us toward a grounded balance of Serenity, Insight and Awareness.

Come! Come! Whoever you are, Come again.
As the sun set on a snowy winter's evening, December 17, 1273, Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi's funeral procession moved through the streets of Konya, Turkey. His family and closest colleagues were joined by throngs of Jews, Christians, and Muslims, all claiming that Rumi's heart brought illumination to their spiritual traditions. Seven centuries later his resonant heart inspires unity and friendship among those of many religions and paths worldwide. Join us for an evening of Remembrance and Unity.
